Minutes of Committee Meeting — Monday 6 July 2015 (start time 8.20 pm)

Membership / Fees
We currently have £882.68 in the bank. However, this will not cover the advanced fees and insurance (which remains unchanged again at £141) that we need to pay for next term, the shortfall will be approximately £150. The Committee members present were happy to pay their renewal fees early to cover this.
Membership this year was 16 and we need 18 to break even. Although we receive some guest fees, these cannot be guaranteed. After some debate it was agreed that fees will need to rise for the forthcoming year as follows:-
Membership for the year £135 / Concessions £65
Guest fees £5.50 / concessions £3.
The Committee agreed that membership fees can be paid as follows:-
£135 (to cover membership for the whole year)
£90 (to cover membership for the second two terms only, starting in January)
£50 (to cover membership for the summer term only)
The Committee agreed that it was not necessary to produce invoices for membership fees.
Everyone is reminded that £135 over an average of 37 playing weeks (allowing for an inevitable PD day) works out to only £3.64 per week so does represent good value for money.
START DATE FOR SEPTEMBER
We will start back again on Monday 7 September 2015.
AGM
This will take place on Monday 12 October 2015.
Committee
All the Committee members present are happy to stand again for next year. Don will contact June to see if she is happy to stand again.
